Don’t buy the LP, Wayne the bass player is apparently in charge of handling the merch. I bought the S/T lp in December 2021. It is now April 2022 and he has been reached in Instagram. He never replied to emails via here or PayPal. He has responded on ig in February saying he was going to send the LP. Then went radio silent . He will steal your money.

Cavern Deep do a very good job of molding this record to suit their concept: it is dark, strange, cramped, slightly hallucinatory, and... wet. Kudos to the psychedelic exploratory songwriting, which expertly feels like you are exploring the dark earth rather than space & time. Riffs = check, heaviness = check, etc., but the guys should really pat themselves on the back for expert mood-crafting, which in my book is the tougher thing to nail.

Mount Saturn are epic on all points, just what I like! The raspy soulful vocals complement the driven and powerful low end and pair nicely with the solid, tasty guitar-work. Doom laden and evocatively rooted in hazy blues, these folks have a story to tell and you should listen.
